On the 3rd day, you will be transferred to Lachen for exploring its beauty. It will take 1.5hrs to reach Lachen. When in Lachen you must visit Lachen Monastery and Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Overnight stay in a homestay of Lachen.

On the 5th day, you will bring to Gurudongmar Lake, the highest lakes in the world. It will take 3hrs to reach. Located at an altitude of 1,700ft It is encircled all around by snow-covered mountains and the sacred lake. In the afternoon, you will return to your hotel in Lachen for the overnight stay. You must know some important things about this lake-
Road Condition-
As you move forward to high altitude, you will find the green forests of smaller trees and bushes. And then you will come close to that area where you will find little vegetation or people. Here, you will explore only Indian Army centers, no human habitation. Just before you reach the lake the road takes a right turn to reach the lake. Note: Due to high altitude, breathing problems may also arise. So, it is preferred to spend less time at this place.
