Jayanti is a small village which is situated along the Jayanti River in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal State of India. Buxa Fort is a destination near Jayanti which plays a big role in the tourism sector of Dooars. Located at an elevation of 2,844 ft Buxa Fort is considered to be the paradise for trekkers. It takes almost one and half hours of a trek from Santalbari to reach Buxa Fort.
