Gorumara is a popular safari destination as is also well connected to the nearby town and transportation areas. If you are traveling through air, Bagdogra will be the nearest airport which is accessible by road and takes around 2 hours of a road trip through green tea gardens.   • The jungle safari must be done on Jeeps which are registered under the Forest Departments. You cannot choose to take your personal vehicle in, so you must plan accordingly.
  • Video camera requires special charges if decided to be carried inside the jungle premises during the safari.
  • You cannot take the trip alone and you must hire a guide who is assigned to accompany you during the jungle safari.

The Gorumara National reserve is around 73 kilometres away from Siliguri and it must take around 2 hours road trip through the beautiful tea gardens of Dooars before you finally reach there.
