About Permit
This small village has a large military settlement as Indo-Tibet border is very nearby and for security reasons you need to issue permits before entering this place. You have to submit your id proof and photograph by giving the reason to visit this place. The permit can be issued at Rangli or Gangtok.
How to reach Zuluk?
It takes 4 hours to reach Zuluk from Gangtok via Tsomgo and Baba Mandir but normally it is not so easy to get a permit for this route. So, it is better to reach Rongpo and then Zuluk via Rorathang. NLP to Zuluk car fare is quite affordable and gives you another option to reach the place comfortably.
